SecureCam Privacy Policy

In short
SecureCam never sends your photos or videos off your device. Nobody — including the developer — can obtain their contents.
SecureCam does not collect personal information. There is no account to create and no email address to enter.
Your photos and videos
- Captures are encrypted immediately after they are taken and stored only in the app's own private storage.
- They are never written to the device gallery (MediaStore) or shared storage. Other apps and file managers cannot read them.
- The encryption key is derived from the password you choose. The password itself is not stored anywhere, including on the device.
- As a result, if you forget your password, nobody — including the developer — can recover your data. This is by design; contacting us cannot restore it.
- The export feature only runs when you explicitly ask for it, and you choose where the copy goes.
Network use
SecureCam connects to the network for one purpose only:
- Checking your purchase — asking Google Play whether the in-app unlock has been bought.
This traffic contains no photos, videos, encryption keys, or passwords.
The purchase itself is handled by Google Play, and payment details are handled by Google. The developer never receives or sees your card details. See Google's privacy policy for how Google handles that information.

Sharing with third parties
The developer does not sell, share, or transfer your data to anyone. There is nothing to transfer — it is never collected.
Advertising and analytics
SecureCam shows no advertising. It contains no analytics or crash-reporting libraries.
Children's privacy
SecureCam is not directed at children under 13, and does not knowingly collect information about them.
Deleting your data
Uninstalling the app removes all encrypted data and key material. It cannot be recovered. Individual items can also be deleted from the gallery inside the app.
The developer holds none of your data, so there is nothing to request the deletion of.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, this page is updated and the date above is revised. Significant changes are announced inside the app.
